AASU Takes on MAASU 2026

AASU traveled all the way to Kalamazoo Michigan to attend MAASU's APIDA conference!

This journey was filled with a long road trip where upon arrival AASU members participated in workshops to help develop advocacy, leadership, community building, and networking. This year's theme was the "Threads of Identity" in which MAASU's 2026 Keynote speaker, Kausar Mohammed, voiced her perspective of the film industry as a multifaceted woman of color.

AASU members were able to become closer over this weekend long endeavor and make many impactful memories/bonds! Hope you will join us next year for MAASU 2027!
