AASU's second semester FamBam has officially begun! After meeting one another, each fam came up with creative, boba themed names before splitting up to compete in our murder mystery event. Fams solved puzzles at multiple stations, and collected clues in order to uncover the identity of the culprit... Joanna!! AASU began 2nd semester off strong with our Spring Kickoff! The event opened with a fast paced name-signing activity, where the three winners were rewarded with their very own baguettes. Shortly after, the Hunger Games commenced! We celebrated our tributes as they competed for tasty prizes in lively rounds of musical chairs and balloon battles. Yet, for these champions there was no sweeter victory than pieing their friends in the face! It was a fantastic start to the semester

AASU's 2025 Night Market was a big hit! Night Markets are common across many Asian cultures, and they're events filled with food, friends, and fun. AASU held a version of our own with dinner, games, and a raffle to end the night! Attendees bounced between answering trivia, paper fishing, getting henna done, taking pictures, and a whole lineup of other activities. We had the best time and are excited to do it all again next year!

In collaboration with LCSA, AASU celebrated Bon Om Touk! Bon Om Touk is a Cambodian boat paddling festival that celebrates the end of Cambodia’s rainy season. It coincides with the full moon of the Buddhist month Kadeuk and brings good luck for an abundant harvest and fruitful fishing. One special part of the festival is Bandaet Pratip, a parade of boats adorned with lights and decor in honor of water goddess Ganga Preah Mae Kongkea.  Members learned about this traditional fe

For our second FamBam event, we played dodgeball! Fam's faced off in an epic battle on the Bakke Court, with special rules and twists. This competition was an awesome opportunity for members to get closer to their Fams and experience some friendly competition. We asked Fams for more passion, more energy, and more footwork, and that's exactly what they delivered!
