Importance of Education

AASU and Adop-T. came together to host an event discussing the Importance of Education!

Attendees played a fun ice-breaker involving reverse charades. Groups of two were formed where one person describes the action the other should do while the second person has to guess the action they are performing. This allowed attendees to get to know each other in a relaxing and enjoyable environment!

Our attendees then grouped together to solve different tasks while eating snacks, ranging from putting together a LEGO set to folding an origami dinosaur. With each cycle, we took away instructions from our groups to demonstrate how significant education can be in determining the outcome of our actions. Adop-T. representatives

came in to talk about how transracial adoptees gain different forms of learning.
