We are All Getting to 500+

With the goal of achieving 500+ LinkedIn connections, AASU, in collaboration with 8 Pan-Asian student organizations, hosted an educational networking event!

Students met new people, learned about being Asian in the professional world, and had the opportunity for a professional headshot, leveling up their LinkedIn profiles. The event began with a lecture on Asian professionalism and the Bamboo Ceiling, educating students about the systemic barriers many Asians face. Then the networking began!

Attendees followed prompts that encouraged discussion and conversations with a variety of attendees, all leading to new connections and bringing them one step closer to 500+ connections. To conclude, attendees heard from a panel of Pan-Asian graduate students. Panelists answered questions and shared wisdom from their experiences.
